How pip value works on EUR/GBP
One pip on EUR/GBP is a price move of 0.0001. Its cash value is not fixed – it scales with how many units of Euro you trade. Multiply your lot size by the contract size to get units (a standard lot is 100,000), then multiply the pip size by those units to get the pip value in the quote currency, GBP. If your account is held in GBP that figure is final; otherwise convert it at the GBP→account rate.
Worked example
Trading one standard lot of EUR/GBP (100,000 units) makes a single pip worth 10 GBP; ten pips are 100 GBP. A mini lot (10,000 units) is 1 GBP per pip and a micro lot (1,000 units) is 0.1 GBP. For an account in another currency, multiply by the GBP→account exchange rate (the calculator does this for you).
