Prop trading

Prop Payout

A payment under a proprietary-trading or evaluation-programme agreement, conditional on its eligibility and calculation rules. A displayed profit does not automatically create an unconditional right to withdraw it. Check account type, deductions, verification, payout dates and the consequences of a rule breach.
Example.

A USD 3,000 result qualifies under a hypothetical agreement for an 80% split, or USD 2,400. Approval and actual receipt are separate stages. Tax and conversion require the actual agreement and applicable jurisdiction.

Qualifying for payment

Read thresholds, periods, minimum days, consistency rules, verification and excluded strategies. A positive screen does not independently create an unconditional receivable.

Payment and counterparty risk

Record currency, timing, charges, documents and dispute procedures. Another person's historical payment does not guarantee yours. A request to pay extra to release funds needs scrutiny against the original agreement.

Records and classification

Keep the agreement, reward calculation and receipt evidence. Simulation rewards are not automatically gains on your own financial instruments. An invoice or payout label does not establish tax category or rate.

Is a payout identical to a CFD gain on my own account?

Not automatically. It may be remuneration under a different contractual relationship.

Does a positive payout review guarantee a transfer?

No. Verification, due dates and fulfilment remain separate matters.
